Is Clara’s Art Relevant to the 21st Century?

Old Mill

Obsolescence is always a risk as time goes by, and art is no exception. This became obvious to me as I visited the website of Toronto’s Old Mill Inn. It’s the 100th anniversary of this special place and an extensive historical archive is there for the viewing! (http://www.oldmilltoronto.com/about/history//. )

Clara lived near the Old Mill and through her art captured many of the same scenes included on the Old Mill’s site. What has been lost is evident and what has been preserved through documentation is to be celebrated. To commemorate this symmetry refer to “An Artist in Your Midst” in the Old Mill Inn‘s
