Clara completed numerous maritime scenes. Collectors have substantiated this with photos of their maritime paintings. As Clara titled some of her work and not others information regarding locations and dates can be pieced together between the various collections.
Reflections of Boats by Clara Harris
Boats, some utilitarian, some for pleasure. Clara Harris engages the viewer in the maritime experience regardless of season. Some are still tied to the docks while others glide across open waters. Waves jostle the vessels. The Bluenose, Cigar Joe, canoes and rowboats painted on location, still vibrant.
