The Price of Not Promoting Yourself.


In Cincinnati on April 1, 2013 Antiques Roadshow appraiser, David Weiss of Freeman’s Auctioneers in Philadelphia, (tvappraisers@freemansauction.com) evaluated a selection of sketches, water colours and a landscape painting by Edward Henry Potthast. Potthast was known for his beach scenes. The estimated value was $41,000.00 - $63,000.00. Clara exhibited alongside Edward Potthast at the Art Institute of Chicago’s “Water-Colors, Pastels and Miniatures by American Artists in 1907” in Room 30.
